What you’ll do:

  • provide full legal support of the company’s projects and processes

  • control compliance of the company’s business with the laws of Cyprus and the EU in all applicable directions

  • monitor current legislation of Cyprus and the EU, its changes and updates, draft regulations under consideration, etc. for compliance and business planning purposes

  • provide support to all corporate issues of Cyprus and the EU companies of the group, deal with cross-border corporate restructuring of the group

  • provide legal support of the group’s financial and tax operations

  • work with contracts (analysis, preparation, updating of internal and foreign economic contracts, support for conclusion of contracts)

  • provide support to employment issues, advise HR team

  • coordinate with the company’s agents, service providers, contractors, etc.

  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns in various business activities

  • interact with state authorities, represent the company’s interests

Our candidate:

  • is a qualified lawyer under Cyprus law with fluent English (business and legal vocabulary)

  • has more than 5 years of dynamic legal experience in a reputable law firm or as an in-house lawyer

  • is experienced in corporate, economic, contractual, labor law and support of cross-border economic activity (experience in tax and IP matters is an advantage)

  • has strong knowledge of commercial, contract, corporate, labor and international private law (Cyprus and the EU legislation)

  • has excellent business correspondence and negotiation skills

  • is responsible, independent, proactive, result- and growth-oriented, attentive to details
